The Perth Games Festival is over for another year, and now that we have all had a good, long rest it’s time to take a look back at the day that was! This year more than 30 exhibitors filled out the Perth Town Hall, showcasing a truly diverse range of 60+ games. Over 1600 people braved the blustery October day to play a game or two (or three!), chase down some achievement badges, and settle into the comfort of the City of Perth Library to listen to a panel.
To wrap up this wonderful event we have a timelapse video for you, a huge collection of photographs, the social media buzz, plus the Perth Games Festival feature on West TV’s Undercurrent. See if you can find yourself on the amongst the games and gamers!
Despite stormy weather and other events around town, the festival once again drew a huge crowd of game lovers to the Perth Town Hall. There are plenty more than the photos below, be sure to check out our full album on flickr (where you can grab any pics of yourself), or you can tag yourself in our facebook album.

Let’s Make Games would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made the event possible. We could not have done it without you! Thank you to the festival committee for organising the event, the volunteers for lending their time to help the day run smoothly, the developers for making such amazing games, the panelists for sharing their knowledge and experiences, the sponsors for supporting the event, and last but not least the over 1600 people who attended the festival. Thank you all for coming out to support Western Australian game developers, and for showing how much games mean to the community!
