If you work or teach in the Games and Interactive Industry (or are studying your way towards doing so) then the Film and Television Institute wants to hear from you. FTI have launched a series of surveys to help build a clearer picture of the local industry, from which they can develop future initiatives that will better support local devs.
In particular the surveys will:
- Guide the focus of FTI’s Interactive Programs and how we can best support the industry in growing and thriving (even more important now that Screen Australia’s games fund has been axed!)
- Help us all know more about the size, scale etc. of our industry so that we better advocate for ourselves and show our economic and cultural importance!
Whether your focus is the console, the tabletop, experimental works, writing game reviews, 3D modelling or any other game-related work, your opinion counts! The feedback from these surveys will directly shape FTI’s plan, and could even help towards showing the value of investment in Games and Interactive to State and Federal Government and private sector.
For more information, and to fill our a copy of the survey, head on over to: https://www.fti.asn.au/fti-games-industry-scoping-survey
The FTI survey is open until Friday, 30 May 2014.
