It’s been a big year for Let’s Make Games; from incorporation to a huge turnout at our End of Year Party. We’ve been busy all year with emails, phone calls, speeches, presentations, workshops, showcases, tweets, Facebook updates and timelapses. All of this is thanks to the amazing community we have here in Perth; our volunteers, attendees and sponsors.
The End of Year Party was a great success! There were good times had by all. Everyone was rockin’ the social games on the day. The internally developed Social Taboo game and Rock, Paper, Scissors card game were huge hits; followed closely by Ninja and the Norwegian Clapping game. Thankfully no serious injuries where sustained. Congratulations to the winners!

A video recap of the party and the interviews with local developers will be posted in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
The Let’s Make Games crew will be going on hiatus until January 9. Community posts will still be moderated, so feel free to keep the Christmas cheer going with your own posts (which can now feature images and videos), so tell everyone about what you’ve learned this year and what your plans are for next year!
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the local game making community, and we’ll see you all next year!
