What’s New: Screenwest $100,000 Interactive Pilot Fund & GameDev Meetup

Join Screenwest on Thurs, June 13th at the local Game Dev Meetup to find out how you can take advantage of their new funding opportunity. Their Interactive Pilot Fund will see $100,000 of financial support go towards the production and development of West Australian interactive projects, and games are front and center in the plan!

About the Interactive Pilot Fund

Screenwest are looking for well-designed procedural narratives, and are open to projects from a wide range of digital mediums. Full guidelines and terms are available on the Fund Information Page, but as a starting point it’s been made clear that Video Games, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, Extended Reality, and Multi-platform projects are all welcomed.

“It is a natural next step for us to introduce this pilot fund. WA’s interactive sector is small, but vibrant and consistently delivers above and beyond what is expected. WA games have consistently won Australian Game Developer Awards nationally for the past few years. We expect to see great projects delivered and be able demonstrate value to the government, developers and community.”

– Screenwest CEO Willie Rowe

Head on over the the Interactive Fund Information Page for all the details, or to apply! Applications close Monday, 1 July 2019 at 5:00pm AWST.
