Perth Games Festival LogoFTI Banner

The Perth Games Festival is  fast approaching, but still we have more exciting news about what you can expect from this day of celebrating the games and game-makers of our fair city. Following the fun times spent playing Perth-made games, checking out game-centric talks, and chatting with game developers, we would like you to join us to party the night away AND share in the launch of a new games program!

What: Perth Games Festival After Party + FTI Games & Interactive Program Launch!
When: 5.30pm, Saturday October 11, 2014
Where: Canton Lounge Bar, 532 Hay St Perth
Tickets: Free, but be sure to RSVP at Eventbrite!

You have no doubt noticed in recent times the significant efforts of the folks at FTI, in particular the ever industrious Dr. Kate Raynes-Goldie, in supporting game development and developers in our fair state. This has been leading towards the development of a new game-specific segment at FTI, the Games and Interactive Program, which has been designed specifically to address the needs of West Australian game developers.

Join us for the official launch of this excellent program, chill out with fellow game devs and game aficionados, and help us celebrate with some drinks after the Perth Games Festival.  Plus FTI will be presenting the key findings from their Game Dev survey earlier this year, and will detail a range of new development initiatives, advocacy / networking events, and opportunities that FTI are planning to provide for the WA games community in the future.

For more details on the Program launch check out FTI event post.
And if you’re keen on partying it up with us, don’t forget to RSVP on Eventbrite so that we at LMG (and the folks at FTI) can start getting psyched about seeing you at this super-awesome After Party / Launch Event!
