Turn-out was a less than normal (just over 20 people – maybe people were intimidated by the music-game-ed-ness of it all), but it didn’t matter one iota.

I’m not sure that any words written here could do it justice, so I’ll just leave it to videos (on our brand new YouTube channel!) and photos.

As with all of our events, the primary purpose is always to provide a casual environment for local game developers and enthusiasts to meet, exchange ideas and knowledge, catch-up, and generally just have a good time.

Don’t be afraid that there will be nothing for you to do just because you are planning on entering the competition!

Note: If you are keen to participate in the competition, you can register your band in the comments section (just mention your band name and number of people).

So be sure to get your $10 pre-purchase tickets from GameTraders (Carillon City or Carousel). Remaining tickets will be $15 at the door.

• Location: Victoria Park Bowling Club (18 Kent Street, East Vic Park)
• Cost: $10 pre-purchase (any remaining tickets will be $15 at the door)
• Food: BYO food (no drinks) or order pizza ($5 per half) on the night!

Get some friends together, grab a table, bring food, and have a good time! Please note that handicaps will apply for teams of more than 8 people, so try to form teams of 8 or less.

The schedule for the night will be:

• 7:00pm: Doors open
• 7:30pm: Pizza orders must be in ($5 per half)
• 8:00pm – 10:00pm: Trivia (4 rounds with half-time intermission)
• 11:00pm: Venue closes

There are some great prizes lined up and you don’t need to be a video-game genius to win something. The questions will be varied and we’ll have door prizes and fun challenges that everyone can participate in!
