It Will Be Hard, an Interactive Queer Comic now on Kickstarter

Image Text reads: "It Will Be Hard". URL links to comic Kickstarter page. Image description: To the right, an illustration of two asian men sitting upright with their eyes closed, leaning on one another as they rest. The man on the left has messy brown hair, stubble, and is wearing a green tunic-like shirt with dark shorts. He leans heavily to his side, resting his face on the shoulder of a man wearing a pink short-sleeved, button-up shirt open at the front. This second man is also wearing shorts, and is sitting with his left knee up, and his arms crossed in front of it. He has shorter black hair and a longer bead. His head is leaning back resting against that of the man in green.

Decide how you want the story to play out, in It Will Be Hard, a collaborative comic by Waving Comics and Gritfish. Set to explore queer romance and the nuances of relationships, this interactive story is seeking support on Kickstarter now and already has a (slightly NSFW) demo out so you can see what it’s all about.

Focusing on respect, boundaries, and sweet, smutty cuddling, It Will Be Hard is a sex-positive story about wanting and feeling wanted for who you are. Arthur and Harold must navigate their own sexuality and desires to create a mutually fulfilling relationship.

Check out the campaign video below, and be sure to visit the Kickstarter page for more details; the campaign runs until 4 September 2017, with the comic shipping January 2018 if successful.  You can also download the Windows demo and Mac demo if you want to try it out before putting down a pledge!
