Regardless of skill level, and whether you’re an artist, sound designer, programmer, animator, 3D modeller, designer, generalist, or any other form of passionate creator – rest assured you will be immersed in an excellent game development experience!
What: Global Game Jam 2017
When: 20th – 22nd January

How does it work?
Everyone gathers on Friday late afternoon, watches a short video keynote with advice from leading game developers, and then the secret theme is announced. All sites worldwide are then challenged to make games based on that same theme, with games to be completed by Sunday afternoon.
As per always, we will have plenty of space for you to bring your laptop or desktop to hook up and jam away. You can order food with us when you sign up, and there will also be eating spaces, room to sleep, and on-site security.
What do I bring?
- Art tools
- Software tools and APIs
- Snack food and drinks (water!) [limited snacks provided]
- Personal hygiene products
- Various changes in clothes
- Anything required for sleeping arrangements
