Scitech’s Dome Dash out now, with Bonus Kids Competition and Prizes

Scitech have a new online game called Dome Dash, which combines high-tech gear and old-world dinosaurs in a race to the finish. Created by local developer Titanium Studios, this one is fun, free to play, and there are special prizes for getting a highscore!

Dinosaurs have escaped from Scitech and are rampaging through the streets of Perth! The race is on to get back to Scitech without being attacked by the ferocious dinosaurs.Use cool technology to avoid the dinosaurs, collect speed boosts, run faster and jump higher back to safety.

Play multiple times, but only your fastest time will count towards winning great prizes!

The Competition:

Get the highscore and win! Kids with the highest scores for their age group (5-7 years, 8-11 years, and 12-15 years) win a 3D Printed Figurine + Scitech Discovery Shop Science Pack + a special Dome Dash Badge. The competition is on now, with one prize draw in February and another in May.

MAKE 4 is an action packed new arcade puzzle game. Different coloured balls fall from random positions at the top of the screen. Swipe the balls to swap their order, get 4 of the same colour in a row or column to destroy them. Try and keep the board as empty as possible, because when the balls reach the top, it’s game over!

Created by +7 Software, this killer title was Greenlit early this year and proved popular at the recent Perth Games Festival. But more importantly, this upcoming title is killer training material for anyone planning to survive a zombie apocalypse – so be sure to check it out.

Final Days is a fast-paced and intense multi-player shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world. It attempts to blend retro arcade style with modern elements. The design goal is for the game to be quick and simple to play while providing an enjoyable challenge. Inspirations include titles such as Smash TV, Gauntlet, Killing Floor, and Left 4 Dead.

Perth-based studio Black Lab Games have just announced that their turn-based space strategy game Star Hammer: The Vanguard Prophecy will be making its way to Xbox One on August 26th! The title hit Steam and then iPad last year, and now it has been customised for all your controller-based gaming needs.

Star Hammer: The Vanguard Prophecy is a game of 3D tactical space battles. Play your part in the Second Contact War in a campaign with a branching story and over 60 missions, or create your own scenarios in skirmish mode battles.

Give your orders, and watch the results in explosive pausable real-time. Tailor your arsenal of crew abilities and assault class ships as your fleet grows with your command. Exploit the enemy’s weaknesses with superior positioning and flanking manoeuvres to inflict devastating damage.
