If you would like your work shown in the show-reel (which will be played on a large projector during the showcase, and embedded on this website), just upload a video (1-4 minutes) to YouTube and send us a link.

If you would like to show off your work as part of the showcase, please send us a title, screenshot, and team name (and logo if you have one). We’ll send you more information (such as when to setup etc.).

If you would like to give a presentation, please contact us with a title, your team name, and (very) brief description. (Our presentation places fill up pretty quickly, but we try to give everyone a chance to present and will keep you in mind for the next event if we can’t fit you in this time!)

Sponsorship:

Firstly, we’d like to extend a huge “Thank you!” to our Platinum sponsor, ECU. They have been a fantastically supportive venue sponsor and great to work with!

Secondly, we’re looking for Gold and Silver sponsors and any other donations to help make this event the best event it can be (and to ensure that we can keep running these events in future).

Every little bit helps! If you’d like to help us out and get your name or brand in front of hundreds of local game developers (students, hobbyists, and professionals), please contact us for more information.

That’s all for now. See you at Show Us Your Bits on Saturday 27 August!

Keep an eye on our homepage (or follow us on twitter) as we will announce the panel line-up later this week. Thanks to ScreenWest for putting this event together!

Oh my gosh, Let’s Make Games are having a barbecue and you’re invited!

It’s summer time and that means spending time near the cool river, throwing a frisbee, kicking the footy, and chowing down on some snaggers. You know, if that’s your thing. Alternatively, you could hang out in a gazebo and chew the fat with local game developers. I’m sure that there will be people interested in a bit of both!

Much like last year’s Sundowner, this year’s summer event is an outdoors get-together. Students and anyone curious about games in Perth are welcome!

Here are the details:

Time/Date: 4pm-8pm, Sunday 27 February 2011

Location: BBQ area at Matilda Bay (meet at the Gazebo)

Schedule: 3pm setup, drinks and food from 4pm!
