WA gamedevs at world-first expo

This weekend, Melbourne will be hosting the very first non-US PAX event, one of the largest gaming festivals in the world. Alongside international guests Ron Gilbert, Bioware and Gearbox Software, a host of West Australian game developers are heading over to showcase their games and talk about their craft.

If you’ll be at the festival, keep an eye out for the following exhibitors:

DrewFX (booth 07, Indie Pavillion)
Gnomic Studios (booth 15, Indie Pavillion)
Kactus Games (booth 1408, Main Exhibition Hall)
Stirfire Studios (booth 2026, Main Exhibition Hall)

Local fan film production, Fallout: Lanius, will host it’s debut screening in the Dropbear Theatre from 9pm, Saturday evening.

As well, local game designers Anthony Sweet and Wesley Lamont will be panelists on the Indie Board Games panel, on Saturday, 6:30pm at the Skippy Theatre.
